3rd Annual F.A.M. Fest!

Residents from the Lake City community and the surrounding areas are invited to spend the day with Haven Hospice and participate in the 3rd annual fitness, art and music festival (F.A.M. Fest)! Activities include a 5K fun run, booths displaying art to purchase from local artists and the surrounding area, food and drink by local vendors for purchase, and live music played throughout the day in Downtown Lake City.  Visitors will also have the opportunity to increase their knowledge of Haven Hospice.

Pet therapy brings comfort to Haven Hospice patients
Even the tiniest dog is lionhearted, and the same can be said of Mia, a five-month-old Jack Russell terrier who visits with patients at the Tri-Counties Hospice Care Center. “She has a sense when she’s here of what she has to do,” says her owner. Patients welcome Mia like a gift. “It’s soothing for them and they love to pet her.”
